ASAD SHAMSI
As a son of Pakistani immigrants who migrated from Pakistan to America at age 5, I have seen first-hand the hard work, dedication, and resilience it takes to succeed. I have taken that lesson that my parents taught me and applied it in everything that I do.
Travel has always been a huge part of my life and during one of my adventures, I came to a city called Aswan in Egypt and found my passion. Ever since childhood, I have loved fragrances and it was there that I was exposed to the art of perfumery. I was in the middle of a tour where they were showing how perfumes were a big part of the Egyptian culture, how they are made, and what ingredients are used. They sold these very ingredients to fragrance houses which used them to create the popular perfumes that we know of. There, I realized if they could do it, why couldn’t I? After 7 years of working the corporate life and not fulfilling my creative itch, I remembered that day in Egypt and decided to embark on a new journey. I decided to take that idea that was sparked in the deserts of Ancient Egypt and my love of fragrances and turn it into reality. I spent the next 6 months learning perfumery and creating my scents to share with the world.
All my life I have wanted to be great and achieve the impossible. I want to Be Memorable. It was only right that I made the slogan and theme of my brand “Be Memorable”. Through this journey I want all of you to Be Memorable as well through our fragrances, fashion line, and more.
